History

The Evangelical Lutheran Broadcast has enjoyed God’s grace for seventy five years in its presentation of the Gospel. It began in 1934, with the dream of Pastor A.M. Vinge, then of Fairy Glen, Saskatchewan, as a live Broadcast, with local musicians and accompanists. The Lutheran Broadcast reached many who at that time were unable to attend church regularly because of winter weather and roads, sickness, or isolation.

With advances in technology the Broadcast is now taping in advance with the
excellent co-operation of CKBI personnel, and other studios who are able to
transmit the recorded program to CKBI for airing.

We are most grateful especially to the pastors in the Prince Albert Conference for their continued participation.
The new techniques also make it possible to welcome quest pastors from any area where taping is possible.
